Now consider that they can perform textual analysis at a scale large enough to figure out who you are based on your linguistic fingerprints across HN, Meta, Github, forms you've filled out for you child's school, your doctor, or wherever else a service provider has used them.
These are "AI" companies but monitoring is what the AI is and will be used for.
America has a worse problem with it than Israel does, it sort of is America's problem. It's not the Israeli army taking lead or Israel's diplomacy taking a hit.
America has a worse problem only in that America is still (Lord knows how) viewed as the default global superpower - so things going wrong in far-away places are somehow our problem.
So America can walk away from this. Vs. Israel can't.
Worse - if Israel's popularity with American voters continues to fall, America could place its support for Israel on the bargaining table with Iran. Think about just how much Tehran might give up, to end that support. And about just how poor Israel's situation might soon become without it.
If Israel still has any competent leaders, they should be terrified by the possibility.
Except for the problems caused by attacking Iran earlier this year, the US does not have a problem with Iran so big it warrants trying to recruit one million soldiers and deploy them to Iran to subjugate the nation. And even the current problems aren't big enough to warrant that effort (yet, at least).

It's not that it's too strong. Anyone can take weak flower and make strong edibles pretty easily. It's just available.
Things that come to your attention as a fait accompli after your representatives sold you out under NDA are generally to be hated. If you see that the land was bought by straw purchasers, you saw deception at work. There's much in the way of underhandedness in various cases and as a member of those communities I'd be hating them on general principles.
Brings up the question of what the intelligence is used for. Humans exploited intelligence for competition. With each other to wipe out other Homo species, mate more and collect resources, with other animals to limit predator impact and gain food. Intelligence will be used offensively by corporations and their people to extract more from consumers (make pricing opaque, terms of service more complicated, etc.) and scams far more sophisticated. The "consumer" will need extra intelligence to fight all that off.
There are only so many meals you can expertly produce, shirts to fold, itineraries to fun places you can execute, but there's a practical infinity of traps to set and avoid.
