If the leaders want to slow down, but the companies aren't, then it isn't those 50-100 people demonstrating no agency - it's just the opposite. Or, the leaders words are empty.

The question was asked whether creatine increases muscle nuclei or just water volume, and I provided a study (well, a meta-study which is referring to a specific study) which showed that creatine supplementation increased the muscle nuclei compared to no supplementation. The specific study referred to is titled "Creatine supplementation augments the increase in satellite cell and myonuclei number in human skeletal muscle induced by strength training"
the interesting claim about the study in the OP is that creatine increases muscle mass in non-trained/sedentary individuals. i haven't seen that claim previously (backed by a study) and took the question from user "15155" to be about that specifically. the claim that it increases muscle mass when combined with resistance training seems to be long-settled though
I wonder about these sites that appear to be vibe coded from a simple prompt. Has the author even looked at the data or just did a little sample and figured that looks about right and hit publish
To either my credit or against it, wikipedia provides a lot of the raw data. However that makes you feel.
I've been making this list for years as markdown files with a few sentences and links to wikipedia (or xkcd for his visual field comic), but the site is indeed made with the help of AI.
If AI is going to do that, AI needs to at least get good enough to autonomously produce all the chips and energy it needs to execute. That seems like a pretty far way off, considering we don't even have robots that can fold laundry competently.
If AI exists but there are still humans producing chips for it, I don't think you would be able to say that civilization has been destroyed

and further context is the WSJ story from yesterday discussing the resignation of anthropic engineers and another anthropic engineer who says it will “kill us all by the end of the decade”.
Essentially I continually hear the perspectives of people who work at AI labs. They frequently brag about escaping the “permanent underclass” and often rationalize ideas like “well better they be the ones in poverty and not me”.

I'm not this extreme, and don't wish for others to be in poverty.
But I do wish for myself and my family to not be in poverty or suffering.
If the system is designed for these to be in conflict, that's not something I have the power to change, beyond voting for the less-shitty of 2 shitty choices on a ballot. At the end of the day I will prioritize myself and my family, and I think that's natural for 99% of people.
It doesn’t matter what you wish if you are actively working towards causing others to fall into poverty on the idea that you and your family must become absurdly wealthy to survive.
