They are proficient at IBM 370 ASM, but need a lot of help, and a professional level disassembler for x64/x86, and in the converse, if you watch HackerNews, AI is poor/expensive for creating compilers, but it has extensive reference materials for MC68K, Itanium, SPARC, and ARM. This is where Gemini and Co-pilot become good co-pilots.

Waiting for AR

There are many many ways to die, some honorable, and a lot, so very stupid it boggles the mind. The stupid ways to die, was always a very good (spoilers warning) good read.

We always renamed the source archive "Viupdate.lib" and rename the binary 'vi' and the process manger would show that two copies of 'vi' were running.

The ! command. If you run as SUID anything, and the UNIX you had, had a SUID bug, then the shell command SUID as root. Scary when you were running on a "secure" version of UNIX, and it had a SUID bug.

On DOS, the ! Command, gave you access to the levels files, for which you could make a closet level.

I always started a few rounds as every role, and watched the hilarity begin with the stupid ways to kill yourself, which after a few months, were always hillariously fun to read.

Die. Die?

Been on and off playing since I was 19, 63 today. Always good times. I had it in my autoexec.bat, so when I got home, and turned on my machine, I was ready to play. Always abused polymorphic traps. Sorry to see them go.

My guess is that both 3D printed fans and production fans get balanced, but the production fans have an extra bit of design, that makes the profile sail at both a wider speed range, and peaks at a higher speed.

From what I remember from my NASA friend, a few companies, hired a few fluid flow engineers, during the defense bust, and designed fan blades that remarkably increased air flow. ( think profiles like air plane wing ). Something happened and in a few years, there were good fans, and there were great fans.

I happen to own a pair of Noctura fans, and wow! They are great, so I would assume that some heavy lifting was done in fluid flow.

It better have been, considering what they charge and how long they take to come out with new ones.

"Writing detailed specs and then giving them to an AI is not the optimal way to work with AI." Perfect. I loosely define things, and then correct it, and tell it to make the corrections, and it gets trained, but you have to constantly watch it. Its like a glorified auto-typer.

"Ignore all of the LinkedIn and social media hype about prompting apps into existence." Absolutely, its not hype, its pure marketing bullshitzen.
